Quorum:
The quorum for the meetings of the Committee shall be three (03) members which shall mandatorily include the Chairman or the Convenor. The Convenor shall convene the meetings of the Committee with the concurrence of the Chairman. In the event of non-availability of the Chairman, the Convenor shall convene the meeting with the permission of the President.
Role & Responsibilities
The Committee shall:
- The Players’ Welfare Committee shall formulate and oversee the implementation of the schemes for the welfare of players which, among others, shall include the health, well-being and future of players and their families, and which benefit the game of cricket.
- All welfare schemes for which budget provision exists, shall be got implemented after obtaining approval of the President. However, the schemes for which budget provision does not exist shall require prior approval of the Apex Council.
